Step 1 Start with the two ends of your cord. I am using two different colors for demonstration purposes. Cord A represents the left side of your piece and cord B represents the right side of your piece. |  | Step 2 Cross cord A over cord B. |  | Step 3 Wrap cord A behind and around cord B. |

Step 4 Wrap cord A behind and around cord B again. This will create two wraps. |  | Step 5 Loop the end of cord A back through the two loops that you created. |  | Step 6 Pull cord A taut. |

Step 7 One side of your adjustable knot is finished. |  | Step 8 To start the second side of your adjustable knot, wrap cord B behind and around cord A. |  | Step 9 Wrap cord B behind and around cord A again. This will create two wraps. |

Step 10 Loop the end of cord B back through the two loops that you created. |  | Step 11 Pull cord B taut. |  | Step 12 The second side of your adjustable knot is now finished. |

Step 13 Congratulations! You now have an adjustable knot! |  | Step 14 To now adjust your piece from long to short, pull on both ends of your cord. |  | Step 15 The knots will slide over the cord. |
