Attach Charms to Chain

Charm bracelets are a classic. Here are quick and easy instructions for how to make your own!

String the beads in the order you want on a headpin. Before starting make all of your links ahead of time and space them out as you would like them to look on the finished product. When attaching the links, make sure they are on the same side of the chain.

Using a single or wrapped loop, attach the pin to the chain before closing your loop. Visit the Handy Tips section for instructions on how to make a simple loop or a wrapped loop

For wrapped loops after you attach the chain use your round nose pliers like you normally would. Remember, because the chain is inside the loop, it will be more difficult to finish.

For a charm, simply open an open jump ring by twisting it side to side using chain nose pliers. Never open the ends by pulling vertically away from each other as this will weaken the link. Attach the charm and close the jump ring.
